Can we model alternate Saturdays off?

Yes. WeeklyOffRule supports an alternate-weeks flag with a separate day-mask for odd/even ISO weeks — the most common pattern (2nd & 4th Saturday off) is one rule.

How do rotational shifts work?

Define a pattern: a JSON array of shift codes (MORNING, NIGHT, OFF, etc.), a cycle start date, and a status. Assign employees with an offset (in days into the cycle) so different teams stagger on the same pattern. The active shift for any date is computed deterministically.

Is there a native mobile app?

Not yet — the portal is web-responsive and the geo-fence works in mobile browsers. A native iOS/Android binary is on the roadmap.
